If coming from Cape Town, take the N2 to Caledon where one turns off and takes the R316 to Bredasdorp. At about 60kms one decends into Napier. When in Napier, turn between the imposing DR church and orange hotel up towards the mountain. Drive up Kerk Straat to the top where there is a T-junction. Turn left and continue below the school to the following T-junction. Turn right and follow the gravel road for 2.4 kms where a sand track turns off right signboarded 'Sunbird Lodge' and 'Oshana' (the name of the farm). The lodge is 300m down the track.

If coming from the Garden Route side along the N2, turn towards Bredasdorp about 13kms after passing Swellendam (R319). Once in Bredasdorp turn right taking the road to Caledon. Napier is 16kms from Bredasdorp. Look for the hotel and church and proceed as above.
