Bot River Talk is a monthly newspaper for the communities of the Bot River valley and environs. It is published by Aardvark Press Publishing in Fisherhaven. Bot River Talk is headed by an experienced editor and writer and is backed by an experienced and highly-competent team. Bot River Talk is associated with Stanford River Talk (founded in 2005) and follows the same format, and quality design.

Which communities will Bot River Talk serve?
Kleinmond, Arabella, Bot River, Benguela Cove, Fisherhaven, Karwyderskraal, Meerensee/Sandown Bay, Hawston and (broadly) the Hemel en Aarde valley, Betty’s Bay, Vermont, Onrus, Villiersdorp, Caledon, Grabouw.

When will the first issue of Bot River Talk be available?
The first issue will be launched on 1 June 2010. (The deadline for ads and copy for each issue will be the 20th of the preceding month.)

How many copies will be printed?
There will be a print run of 500 copies, each month. We project that the readership will be more than 1,200 people. The newspaper will be packed with a month’s worth of news, views, and relevant community news, and we expect that the readership is likely to be more.

Will it be possible to subscribe to Bot River Talk?
Readers who live elsewhere but who have homes in the area, or visit regularly, or simply want to find out what’s going on, will be able to subscribe. Copies will be posted off as soon as the newspaper comes off the press.

Will Bot River Talk be free?
No - the cover price will be R15 incl VAT.

Where will the newspaper be available?
The newspaper will be available throughout the Bot River valley and beyond. If you want to be sure to receive a copy, please email us and we’ll send you a note when the next issue is available.
