Morag Swanepoel, volunteer for OEDI (Overstrand Enterprise Development Initiative) [among many other things!] went with met Tannie Elina at a Cultural Form workshop in Bredasdorp recently. She was overwhelmed with the work done by this local crafter.

Tanie Elina writes poetry, sews, embroiders, paints, makes, makes and makes - her home is full of her work and she was so happy that our group went to her home to see all that she does.

Perhaps as phenomenal as her creativity is the fact that she does all this on a state pension!
