Who we are
UAP Crop Care has a long and prosperous history in the crop protection industry in South Africa. The Company is a market leader with considerable expertise in distribution and marketing of a complete range of crop protection products and plant nutrients directly to farmers.

In January 2005, UAP was acquired by Plaaskem (Pty) Ltd. and hence became a member of the Chemserve-group, a full subsidiary of AECI. This acquisition placed us in a unique position, as we are now the only distributor in South Africa with a dedicated team of Technical Advisors and Research and Development specialists. as well as in-house manufacturing and formulation capabilities.

Where to find us
Our Head Office is situated in Lilianton from where we support a team of 85 sales agents, operating in the Western-, Eastern-, Northern Cape and Kwazulu-Natal and selected areas in the summer rainfall area.

What farmers can expect
Top-of-the-range products, backed by a team of dedicated technical advisors, development specialists and an efficient administrative and logistical infrastructure. Our sales representatives are constantly trained to deliver on-farm technical advice to provide cost-effective solutions following the basic principles of Integrated Pest Management.

Using feedback from our clients and field personnel, our research and development team constantly strives to improve product performance and to deliver more cost-effective solutions. The development of low risk products, with minimal impact on the environment is of highest priority. New methods of pest- and disease control is constantly investigated and evaluated in an effort to reduce the levels of chemical residues on fresh produce.
